Covid-19 Precautions
We all hope that the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic is behind us, but we remain vigilant and will react immediately to any new guidelines or requirements that are set by the CAA or health authorities. If you have any particular concerns because of your personal health situation, let us know and we will agree additional measures to allay your concerns. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the flight!
Business Trips
If you have a busy schedule, with multiple meetings some distance apart, then consider using a helicopter. Travel time is typically around one third of road travel, and not subject to construction and congestion delays. We can land on any open space that has a clear approach (not over a built up area or trees) where we have the landowners’ permission. In one day, you could fit in three meetings with a total route distance (point of point) of 400 miles flying distance for a cost of around £3,000 - contact us for a quote.
Urgent Packages and Freight
If you have goods that MUST get to to UK destination as quickly as possible, then we are able to carry those on a one-off or regular basis. Depending on the pick-up and drop-off locations, we can potentially do this from point to point in around one third of the time of a road trip, and with less risk of delays. Maximum payload around 300kg depending on the configuration of your shipment - single or multiple packages, physical size, etc.
Training and Self-Fly Hire
Subject to your flying history, we can offer our Jet Ranger for training purposes with a CAA Approved Training Organisation and for self-fly hire. This is subject to a check flight, insurance excess and minimum purchases of 5 flying hour blocks paid in advance.
Weekends Away
Everyone likes a break away, but sometimes it doesn’t feel like much of a rest after 5 or 6 hours getting to the coast or that country cottage. In our helicopter, it’s a two hour flight over the jams and roadworks to get to Cornwall, Wales or the Lake District. We can take up to four passengers plus luggage and land anywhere where there is a safe and legal site. Let us know your plans and we’ll come up with a plan and a quote to make sure you really do have a stress-free break.
Special Occasions
If you are looking to celebrate a notable birthday or other event in the life of family or friends, then including a helicopter trip to kick off the event, perhaps by flying the special person into a surprise party, or taking them off for lunch, afternoon tea or dinner at a country hotel or favourite restaurant could round off your plans. We can recommend suitable venues and enjoy being part of the planning. If you’re looking for a return trip, then there is no charge for the helicopter whilst you’re enjoyiong your event together, so this can be a great value option.
Weddings
We are pleased to have helped make that special day even more memorable for many couples over the last 10 years. There are many options, but typically we fly the groom’s party into the wedding venue, or take the bridge and groom from the wedding venue to the reception. We will work with you or your wedding organiser to fit into your day in the most effective way. We can land at most country hotel type venues, and know many of them well. Our Jet Ranger helicopter takes up to 4 passengers so include the photographer or other family members.
Concerts and Sporting Events
Whatever your interest, we can help you get there. Over the years we have taken our clients to the major music festivals such as Glastonbury and the Isle of Wight, to horse racing at Aintree, Ascot and Goodwood, to motorsport events at Goodwood, Shelsley Walsh and Silverstone, rowing at the Henley Royal Regatta, and many others.
